Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your Davila Jewels purchase! If for any reason you need to return an item, you have 30 days from the date you receive it to get in touch with us.
To keep things smooth, items should be returned in their original condition — that means unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in their original packaging. Don’t forget to keep your proof of purchase handy.
We’re happy to offer store credits or exchanges on full-priced items (excluding earrings*) that meet these conditions. While we don’t provide refunds for change of mind or incorrect purchases, we’ll always do our best to find a solution you’ll be happy with. Please note, return shipping costs are usually covered by the customer unless the item is confirmed faulty.
To start a return, simply email us at customerservice@davilajewels.com or visit us in-store. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you clear instructions on where and how to send your item. Just a heads-up: returns sent without prior approval can’t be accepted.

What Can’t Be Returned?
Certain items can’t be returned unless they’re faulty:
- Earrings
- Sale items
- Personalised or customised jewellery (including permanent jewellery and engraving)
- Charity and promotional items
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please take a moment to check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or not quite right, contact us immediately so we can sort it out for you.
Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship. All Davila Jewels come with a 6-month manufacturer warranty covering any manufacturing faults. This doesn’t cover accidental damage or normal wear and tear, like scratches or bent parts from daily use.
If you believe your jewellery is faulty, we’ll need it returned for assessment. Faulty items will be repaired where possible. If a repair is not possible, we will offer a replacement or store credit.
Refunds
Refunds are only provided if we can’t repair the item and don’t have a replacement in stock.
Permanent Jewellery Warranty
Our permanent jewellery service also carries a 6-month warranty because we believe in lasting quality:
What’s covered:
- Free re-welding of your chain if it breaks within 6 months, no matter how it happened — as long as the chain length stays the same.
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
What’s not covered:
- Lost chains or charms
- Chains that are too short to be rewelded
Refunds for permanent jewellery are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Not covered by warranty? No problem, we can still repair your jewellery for a repair fee of $40.
Please Note
- We reserve the right to refuse exchanges that don’t meet our policy requirements.
- Davila jewellery is delicate and deserves gentle care.
- Our jewellery is made from 5–10 microns of solid 18k gold bonded to 925 sterling silver for much greater durability than standard plating.
- How long your jewellery lasts depends on how you wear and care for it — with a little love and occasional cleaning, your pieces can stay beautiful for years to come.
- We do not offer refunds on gift vouchers.
