Exchanges / Refunds

If there is a fault with the item you have purchased, we will offer to repair or replace where available otherwise a store credit or refund will be offered. All claims for faulty items are assessed on an individual basis by our independent jewellers. If a refund is required, it will be processed back via the original payment method used to place the order. Proof of purchase is required for any exchange, return or refund.

Warranty

D'AVILA Jewels offers a 6 months manufacturing warranty on all items which covers only faulty clasps & faulty links in the chain. It does not cover accidental breakage and general wear and tear, such as scratched, tarnished or faded jewellery.

In most cases we will require you to return the jewellery for assessment by our customer service team.   A replacement or store credit will be provided once the jewellery is deemed faulty.

* PLEASE NOTE

– We reserve the right to refuse any exchange that does not meet our standards.

- D'AVILA is a delicate and should be handled carefully.

- Under the general guideline, 0.125 micron should last 6 months or more, while 1 micron should last more than a year. We cannot guarantee how long the plating will last, as it depends entirely on the customer's wear and tears. However, with proper care, it can last for years to come.

Brass jewelry will tarnish (oxidize) over time, as this is just the metal reacting to the oxygen in the air. It is not a matter of "if" you will encounter tarnish, but "when". Tarnishing will generally happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph which triggers a chemical reaction. The reaction then leaves a thin, discolored layer on the surface of the metal. However, it won't cause significant physical damage the way that rust does to iron. The amount of tarnishing that occurs is dependent on the skin and care habits of the wearer. Tarnishing is therefore considered normal wear and tear not a manufacturing fault.
