Founded by Francine — a Brazilian living on the Sunshine Coast — D'ÁVILA was born from the desire to bring Brazilian craftsmanship to Australian women. In Brazil, fine jewellery-making is a tradition. Small workshops, family artisans, meticulous technique. We brought that here.

Here's why it matters.
Gold-plated jewellery uses a thin layer of gold over base metal. It looks beautiful for a few weeks — then it tarnishes, chips or turns green.
Gold-filled is different.
It's a thick layer of real gold mechanically bonded to the base. The result is jewellery that keeps its colour for years, not months. It's waterproof-friendly. It's safe for sensitive skin. And it looks as good on year three as it did on day one.
All D'ÁVILA pieces are gold-filled. It's not negotiable for us.
